You are Considering a BIG SKY CARVERS HAND CARVED AND HAND PAINTED QUAIL ON DRIFTWOOD BASE (Made in MONTANA) This is a nice hand carving is identified with a foil label on the bottom as an original from Big Sky Carvers in their Montana Workshop. It is a very realistic depiction of a quail perched on a piece of burl driftwood. It is finished with translucent green and brown stain with overpainted details in ivory. It has glass eyes and a very alert expression. A peg type attachment to the burl driftwood base and the carved head feather can be removed. It is in very nice condition with no damage noted.
