VINTAGE BIG SKY Hand-CARVED Canvasback Drake Decoy by Renown Carver Christensen. This stunning decoy has glass, set-in eyes, a smart cock of the head with rows and rows of detailed feathers, right down to the tail. The handsome nail is extremely clever, as it is carved into the bill. The wood grain can be seen on the breast and head, which appear to be stained. The life size of this canvasback is 11 1/2″ nail to tail, 5 1/2″ wide and 6 high. The bold brand “BIG SKY Carvers, Manhattan Montana USA” is wood-burned into the bottom, below the signature.
