This is not only a stunning piece because its size, but also because of the quality of the carving and painting. The goose measures approximately 22 inches long and 12 inches tall. It is quite heavy. The line around his neck is not a flaw or a break it is the way the decoy was manufactured by Big Sky Carvers. They made other decoys using the same method. The goose is in overall very good condition with only a small amount of wear, most of which is nearly unnoticeable. The “marks” on his chest are part of the decoration and not wear.
