Big Sky Carvers Decoy Canvasback Drake Duck Wood New
Listing another beauty from my collection, only to make room for other beauties… I listed this canvasback new, only because it is in condition as when bought new-beautiful paint, original, no scuffs, or dents. I want to note in pictures 3 & 4, there has always been a close line of birthmark natural indentations in the wood on the black part of his chest, that werent completely sanded out; but original paint is completely covering them. Just want to note that in case of questions about those photos. So I pass this along to someone who may enjoy it. It is very beautiful, Ive found it to be my favorite Big Sky Canvasback ever made. On bottom, date says 1999, and it is numbered #4551 by the artist, Gordon Alcorn. It is a wonderful example, original red glass eyes. He has been cared for greatly, and is ready for a new home.
