Large Big Sky Carvers “Kris Santa Bear” Wood Carving by Jeff Fleming (17″) Impressive and highly collectible “Kris Santa Bear from Big Sky Carvers, designed by renowned artist Jeff Fleming. Hand-carved solid wood in the 1990s, this substantial piece stands just over 17 tall approx. 17″ x 6″ x 5.75 and showcases the rustic craftsmanship that made these bears iconic. The bear features a warm, festive Santa theme with classic carved detailing and a natural wood finish. A drilled hole in the paw is designed to hold a candy cane but can also display a small flag, greenery, or miniature tree-offering versatile seasonal styling. Big Sky Carvers no longer produces these early carved bears, making larger examples like this increasingly hard to find. WE LOVE THIS GUY BUT IT IS TIME TO FIND HIM A NEW GOOD HOME. 18 INCHES LONG AND APPROX. 13 INCHES TALL TO HIS ANTLERS AND APPROX. 13 INCHES WIDE FROM HIS ANTLERS. HE IS IN GOOD SHAPE AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS AND IS MADE OF MIXED WOOD AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS, HE COMES WITH THE KNOT HOLES IN HIS WOOD AND THE BIG SKY METAL TAG ON HIS LEG. HE WEIGHS CLOSE TO FOUR POUNDS. HE IS A LITTLE DUSTY FROM SITTING ON A SHELF FOR SO LONG, BUT ALL THE MARKS AND DIFFERENT COLORS OF WOOD ARE APART OF HIM AND HOW HE WAS MADE, SAME FOR HIS ANTLERS NOT ALL THE WAY DOWN ON THE WOOD AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS.
