The jar is used in good condition. There is one chip on the back wing not too noticeable and a chip on the nesting area that has been repaired (so hard to see that one). No other chips or cracks. Blue Heron Wood Carved Shorebird Tom Taber for Big Sky Carvers
It was carved by Tom Taber during his Big Sky Carvers era. The details on the feather and beak, and the beautiful paint job make this Heron a work of art. There are two areas where the heron is not perfect. One head feather has a small crack that can be fixed but not necessary for overall integrity. Again, this does not jeopardize the stability and longevity of this piece. Assemble and put it on display. The quality and size make this piece stunning. Measures about 26.75 inches tall.
