Mantel Clock Big Sky Carvers Montana Lodge Woodsman Deer Antlers CHIMES
Great hunting lodge mantel clock about 18″ wide and 12″ tall, it keeps good time and chimes a wonderful Westminster sound all tested put, it has an automatic night shut off for the chime, comes with the original manual. Notice (last pic) one of the deer spike has broke off on top. It looks like wood bark or sticks surrounding the clock. The clock is quartz and uses one AA battery the chime 2 AAs. Orvis Exclusive Edition Canvasback Decoy by Big Sky Carvers Cabin, Den, Lodge
This is an Orvis Exclusive Edition Canvasback Drake Decorative Decoy. It was carved for Orvis by Big Sky Carvers of Boseman, Montana, and is signed by Thomas Chandler but not dated. The decoy is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind that we could observe. It is typical of Big Sky Decoys in that it is finished with paints and transparent stains that give it a rich, natural appearance. It measures about 15 inches long, 6.25 inches wide, and 7 inches tall. It weighs 2 pounds, 4 ounces. Big Sky Carvers made a large number of decorative decoys for many years. This decoy is one of a series they made for the Orvis Company. Canvasback ducks are uncommon in our area and are personal favorites. This decoy’s value is enhanced with the Orvis connection. It would look very nice in any man-cave, cabin, or lodge. It would be a treasured gift for any waterfowler and a nice addition to any collection of Big Sky Carver Decoys. Big Sky Carvers Faux Antler Lamp Light Rustic Lodge Cabin
This is being listed as used, although it’s never been used. We received this as a gift, years ago, but never used it. It’s been packed in a box since we received it, and that’s why it’s being listed as used. This is in excellent plus condition, and appears new. These are faux antlers, but they look real. The lamp shades give off a beautiful glow. This is one of Big Sky Carvers nicer lamps, and you would be hard pressed to find a nicer one. The cord is pliable and soft, and NOT dry and hard. If you’ve been looking for an antler lamp, then look no further. This is the nicest one I’ve seen. Please see the pictures to see just how beautiful this lamp is. This lamp is almost 24″ tall and 12″ wide. This will require a large box and careful packaging. Big Sky Carvers Decoy- Greenhead Drake Man Cave, Den, or Lodge
This is a Big Sky Carvers Greenhead Mallard Drake Decorative Decoy that was made in 1982 in Boseman, Montana. It is in near perfect condition with the exception of a very small dent on the front forehead. It is small, measuring 10.5 inches long, 5 inches wide, and 5.25 inches tall. It weighs just over 15 ounces. Big Sky Carvers was founded in 1980 by Eric and Mark Pierce in Boseman, Montana. They employed a number of local carvers and, expecially artists, to paint their variety of machine and hand carved decoys and their company became quite well known and successful. This decoy we thought was interesting for a number of reasons. It is from their early days as a company because it does not have their branded logo on the bottom and it is unusual to find one of their decoys that is not signed by the artist. It also appears to us to be a Mallard Drake painted onto a body intended to be another type of decoy. Anyway, we though this little guy might appeal to someone who collects Big Sky Carvers decoys.
