Friends Of Nra 1 Of 1100 Big Sky Carvers Marc Pierce Living Large Bronze Bucks
1 of 1100 Friends of the NRA Signature edition of Marc Pierce’s beautiful Living Large sculpture. These sculptures are meticulously handcrafted by Big Sky Carvers artists based on Marc Pierce’s own life experiences. Big whitetails amaze me. You can hunt and even live in the same area for years and never see an old mossy horn that has been there all along. There is also nothing more handsome in all of North American than a big, thick-horned whitetail buck. If it wasn’t for the rut, when common sense seems to leave male deer, wed hardly ever see the big ones. But during that brief, crazy period, even the oldest, smartest buck in the county thinks and acts like a teenage boy at the senior prom. I have taken the biggest bucks of my life during the rut, and understanding the seasons within the rut, and how it affects a deers behavior, is the key to putting a trophy above the fireplace. These three monsters are not yet in the rut, but they’re storing up their energy for it, hiding out in a reclusive bachelors club and feeding under cover of night. They’ve been flushed by something, probably a farmer checking a fence or a water source. Big sky carvers whitetail hole in horn bronze deer sculpture limited edition
This is a limited edition 538/9500 limited edition BIG SKY CARVERS Whitehall deer bronze statute. This features the HOLE IN THE HORN BUCK that was found dead alongside a train track in Ohio. This was sculpted by Dick Idol. Base is walnut with a green marble accent. It stands about 11 inches tall. These are really nice and would look great in a man cave or hunting cabin of lodge.
