Big Sky Carvers Dogtivity #1 Dog Nativity Set Hard To Find Mint Condition
Adorable dog-themed Nativity set made by Big Sky Carvers. It is the Dogtivity Set #1. It includes Mary (Black Lab), Joseph (German Shepherd), Baby Jesus (Westie), 2 Angels suspended on wire attached to tree trunks (Poodle and Chihuahua), a shepherd (Yellow Lab) and a King (Pug). This set is extremely hard to find. All pieces are in mint condition, no chips or scratches and comes from a non-smoking home. The pictures didn’t come out that great – colors look much better in person than the pictures portray. Sizes of pieces are as follows. Black Lab (Mary) 4-3/4″ high x 3″ long. German Shepherd (Joseph) 6″ high x 4″ long. Yellow Lab (Shepherd) 2″ high x 6″ long. Westie (Baby Jesus) 2″ high x 2-1/2″ long. Pug (King) 3″ high x 3-1/2″ long. Chihuahua (Angel) 2″ high x 1-1/4″ long. Poodle (Angel) 2″ high x 1-1/4″ long. Angels are 7-1/4 high when suspended on wire hooks and tree trunks. Jeff Fleming Big Sky Carvers Bearfoots Mirror. This mirror is a rare find! It is in good condition with few very minor dings. Born in Montana, Jeff grew up surrounded by wilderness and wildlife. An avid outdoorsman, Jeff and his family enjoy all the adventure Montana has to offer: hiking and riding horses in the mountains, fishing the lakes, rafting and kayaking the rivers, and skiing through the winter months. Jeff’s art career began in 1985. I’ve always enjoyed working with wood and began by sculpting large wood carvings. Whimsical bears have always been my favorite subject and I’ve carved hundreds of bears from little cubs on up to huge bears standing 20′ tall. Around the world and can be found in many private and corporate collections, most National Parks, and Disney World. In 1993, Jeff partnered with Big Sky Carvers to reproduce his whimsical bear designs, starting with Big Sky Bears. He then went on to create Bearfoots. The loveable Bearfoots popularity soon soared, and have been produced in many forms such as cast resin figurines, dishes and cookie jars, plush, benches, coffee tables, flower planters, clothing, blankets, pillows, Christmas ornaments, chocolates, note cards and many other products. Jeff has had a long and prolific career as an Artist and continues to create new bear designs. Most recently, he has been sculpting a wonderful collection of bears cast in bronze, and he also enjoys painting his favorite bears. Jeff and his family live in Northwest Montana near Glacier National Park and work together at Jeff’s Bear Country Studio and Gallery in Kalispell, Montana. The package will be insured.
