Jeff Fleming-Rare solid wood toilet paper holder. Toilet paper holder for home or cabin bathroom. John is the bears name. One of the first John bear toilet paper holders carved in solid wood. This John Bear is no longer made. The new ones are cast resin. Specs- 32 tall- 7.75 wide-5.25 deep with aproximity a 3.5 notch cut out to go over baseboard. Has a hole behind toilet paper for one screw to attach bear to wall. One owner bought in Montana at Big Sky Carvers. He is an old bear so he may have a scratch or ding but the only ones I see are on the back side where he was attached to wall overall condition is very good. Looks great in any home. Big Sky Bears Carvers Jeff Fleming SANTA BEAR with BAG Solid Wood 13 Vintage. 13-1/4″ tall x 7-1/2″ wide side to side x 5 depth front to back 4 pounds 8 ounces. The bag included came from Pier One. I usually put a bottle of wine or other Christmas-type decor in it. I have seen one other Santa bear with a red velvet bag, stuffed through the hand hole. Big Sky Carvers Solid Wood Toilet Paper Holder John Bearfoot Jeff Fleming RARE
Please read all information before purchasing. Retired and rare solid wood toilet paper holder “John” Bear by Big Sky Carvers. This is one of the first John Bear toilet paper holders. They were later made in China from resin. He measures approx 32″ tall, 7 3/4″ wide, and 5 1/4 deep. There is a notch cut off the bottom of the back to allow for floor molding, the height of the notch measures approx 3 1/2. There is a hole behind the toilet paper to allow for a screw so it can be attached to the wall. We bought this guy direct from Big Sky Carver’s warehouse in Manhattan, MT and used him in out home for several years and was such a fun conversation piece. There are a few dents and dings throughout the piece and there is a crack in the wood running along the left side (please see last photo). He could also use some dusting. Big Sky Carvers Montana Wood Lodgepole Stumpy Santa 18 Tall Rare Retired Solid Pine. Santa is 18″ tall, and bottom of his black boots measure 8″ x 7, and is holding a pipe. Santa is carved on solid western pine so he is heavy. The packaged weight is 17 lbs. And box is 21″ x 15 x 16″. Santa comes in his original box with papers explaining how he was carved and instructions for care. This is a rare and retired Santa. On the box, previous owner wrote “Stumpy Santa 12/31/02″. We found only one other like this Santa on the internet. I do my best to describe each item to the best of my ability. My items will never be perfect due to age.
