Big Sky Carvers Bearfoot Bears Woody Cookie Jar
This one’s just plain fun. A classic Bearfoots Woodie wagon loaded up for a camping trip, complete with a family of bears riding along and luggage strapped to the roof. If you love cozy cabin style, lodge decor, or Bearfoots pieces with personality, this jar delivers all of it. Made by Big Sky Carvers and designed by Jeff Fleming, this oversized cookie jar has great detail from every angle – the bears in the windows, the wood-paneled sides, and that classic road-trip vibe. This piece comes from a retired Bearfoots design, which is why you don’t see it come around very often anymore. Maker: Big Sky Carvers. Design: Woodie wagon with camping bears. 12″ x 6″ x 7.5. There are three tiny flea-bite chips along the top edge on one side and some light crazing on the hood, consistent with age and use. These do not affect function or display and are only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to photos as they are part of the description. This is a large, solid cookie jar with great shelf presence – perfect for a cabin kitchen, bear collection, or anyone who loves rustic lodge style with a little humor. Big Sky Carvers Ethan Allen Canadian Goose Decorative Decoy-Signed/Dated
This is a Canadian Goose Decorative Decoy. It is stamped on the bottom with the Ethan Allan name logo but it was finished by Anne Madsen, has her signature, is numbered #10, and is dated 1984. Photos provide a good description. It is finished with paints. Feathers have a brown edging which is slightly raised. The decoy is in near perfect condition but It does have a bit of pine sap that has bled through the paint on its white behind area and we left that as we found it. It is smaller than life size, measuring about 13.5 inches from beak to tail. It is 6.5 inches tall, 5inches wide, and weighs 2 pounds, 3 ounces. In the 80’s Ethan Allen had a number of decorative decoys made by various companies for sale as accessories to their furniture lines. Big Sky Carvers did a number of them and we are guessing this is one they did. We thought it a nice decoy, one that would not take up much space in your well appointed office or den.
