Figurine is from the Big Sky Carvers Holiday Collection by artist Stuart Bond, and is retired, rare, and hard to find. Figurine is skillfully handcrafted. Resin and beautifully hand painted. Figurine is titled Woodland Santa and features Santa in long red coat, forest green cape, and red hat adorned with pinecones, nesting a bluebird in his arms and patting a cub black bear at his feet while a grey squirrel rests in his beard. Figurine is a Limited-Edition piece, signed by the artist, and numbered A0628. Figurine measures approximately 21″ High x 11″ Wide. Figurine is for display purposes only and is not a toy. Trio of Big Sky Carvers Polartivity Bear Figurines, Phyllis Driscoll, Xmas
This trio of RARE Big Sky Carvers Bearfoots “Polartivity” figurines is absolutely fetching! The figurines, which are three of an ten-figure collection, are geared toward–as you can tell by the name–the Nativity, as fashioned in Polar Bears. I’m not entirely sure, but surmise that this trio could be the bear version of the Holy Family, with a plainly garbed mother and father bear, along with an extremely cute bear cub. The figurines are in excellent condition, and ready to set up in your Christmas holiday display!
