Big Sky Carvers Bearfoot Bears Woody Cookie Jar
This one’s just plain fun. A classic Bearfoots Woodie wagon loaded up for a camping trip, complete with a family of bears riding along and luggage strapped to the roof. If you love cozy cabin style, lodge decor, or Bearfoots pieces with personality, this jar delivers all of it. Made by Big Sky Carvers and designed by Jeff Fleming, this oversized cookie jar has great detail from every angle – the bears in the windows, the wood-paneled sides, and that classic road-trip vibe. This piece comes from a retired Bearfoots design, which is why you don’t see it come around very often anymore. Maker: Big Sky Carvers. Design: Woodie wagon with camping bears. 12″ x 6″ x 7.5. There are three tiny flea-bite chips along the top edge on one side and some light crazing on the hood, consistent with age and use. These do not affect function or display and are only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to photos as they are part of the description. This is a large, solid cookie jar with great shelf presence – perfect for a cabin kitchen, bear collection, or anyone who loves rustic lodge style with a little humor. I have seen this color and I believe at one time I saw a brownish orange kitty one. That has been a few years ago. This cookie jar is large just like most Big Sky Carvers cookie jars are. It is in good condition, there are some small paint flecks that are pictured and one small chip behind the ear on the lid. This cannot be seen while on display. There are no cracks or repairs on this adorable jar. Be sure to swoop this one up, these jars do not come around very often!! Downsizing is the name of the game!! All sales are final! Height is 10-1/4 inches. Please look closely at photos, as I have tried to show the “crazing” or small cracks that have appeared due to age. Also, there are a few tiny white spots in the colored paint.
