See below for more details. This is a very unique item and if you are looking at it without already being familiar with the artist or company this was made by Big Sky Carvers. I do not think they are made any longer as no longer on their website. The coffee table has a quarter-sawn, hand-rubbed solid wood frame proudly displaying the incredible, hand-painted interior. The interior top displays a lifelike trout stream scene including trout, turtle, stream bottom – rocks/plants/etc. It is covered by a removable beveled glass top. The size is 47″ long x 32″ depth x 18 height (approximately). I would guess it’s weight around 100 lbs. I bought this new sometime around 1999 and it no longer fits my home décor. It’s in good condition. There are some scuffs and signs of age. I try to capture the worse in the pictures. About 3 hours from Washington, DC metro area, a few hours from Virginia Beach, VA area and well within an hour or so from most places in Central Virginia.
