20 Rare Retired Big Sky Carvers Mountain Mooses 2006 Phyllis Driscoll Ski Moose. Offered here for your consideration is a handcrafted piece that is sure to turn heads. Would go perfect in a lodge or wood cabin, a porch or or even your entryway or foyer to greet you hello & goodbye! This moose is from a retired 2006 series by artist Phyllis Driscoll. You can see on the skis she has signed her initials. The series of sculptures were of moose engaged in different sporting activities. However, these were extremely limited in production, especially ones this large, and are now very hard to come by. Thankfully this skiing moose is also in excellent condition for its age. There is some missing black paint on his hooves, but no chips or dings anywhere to be found. After close examination I also found that there is a small. 75 red line that looks perhaps like marker on the back of his right arm behind the skis, please see photos for details.
