Ducks Unlimited’Answering the Call’ Duck Hunter LE Sculpture by Ralph McDonald
For sale is a rare, Ducks Unlimited limited edition Answering the Call sculpture by Ralph McDonald and Big Sky Carvers. The sculpture depicts a boy in hunting gear with waders, a duck call, and a shotgun. It reminds me of the importance of teaching the next generation to hunt. The statue is about 14.5 tall. It is numbered #187 out of 1950 produced. It is a cold cast bronze (bronze powder + resin). There are a few minor notes on the condition of the item. I noticed a small scratch on the back of the base that isn’t visible when the statue faces forward. I also noticed a few small spots of wear to the finish. The very last 4 pictures show these areas specifically. The gun also wobbles some if moved manually but is attached fine. BIG SKY CARVERS Bozeman, Montana Don Profata Canadian Goose #219 / 750 NICE
Don Profota – Canadian Goose. Masters’ Edition Woodcarving #219 / 750. Measures about 8.25″ tall x 12″ wide x 6.75 deep from its furthest points, including the base. Features a Canadian goose looking backwards. Solid walnut wood base is embossed with “don profota”. The base underside features a gold-colored medallion noting this is a limited piece (#219 of 750), complete with mounting bolt and felt pads.
