Bradford Williams Big Sky Carvers American Bald Eagle LE Bust Sculpture Decor
The resin sculpture on wood base measures 10″ tall 6″ wide and 7 1/2 deep and weighs over 5lbs. The front has a plague that reads “Noble Spirit by Bradford Williams 311/1250″ and the back is signed “97 Bradford Williams” see pics. Big Sky Carvers Birds Comin In Labrador retriever sculpture Bradford Williams
This lifelike bust of a Labrador Retriever is by artist Bradford Williams for Montana’s Big Sky Carvers. It absolutely captures the nature of these retrievers, which (having owned several retrievers) I think of as the dog world’s best utility players–friendly, intelligent, four-square enthusiastic, and full of energy for a full day in the field. The bust morphs into a square base with a brass plaque with the title and artist. I don’t know what material this is made from–cast stone perhaps, with a lovely bronze patina that absolutely gleams in the sunlight off of the Lab’s characteristic short, sleek coat. It is certainly heavy enough to use as a paperweight, but why put it to such prosaic use? This bust stands 6 inches tall, and the base measures 4 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches deep. It appears to be in wonderful condition from top to bottom. A lovely gift for the Lab owner in your orbit, or as a tribute to your favorite hunting dog or family pet.
Ducks Unlimited’Answering the Call’ Duck Hunter LE Sculpture by Ralph McDonald
For sale is a rare, Ducks Unlimited limited edition Answering the Call sculpture by Ralph McDonald and Big Sky Carvers. The sculpture depicts a boy in hunting gear with waders, a duck call, and a shotgun. It reminds me of the importance of teaching the next generation to hunt. The statue is about 14.5 tall. It is numbered #187 out of 1950 produced. It is a cold cast bronze (bronze powder + resin). There are a few minor notes on the condition of the item. I noticed a small scratch on the back of the base that isn’t visible when the statue faces forward. I also noticed a few small spots of wear to the finish. The very last 4 pictures show these areas specifically. The gun also wobbles some if moved manually but is attached fine. Please examine the pictures for the best idea of condition and feel free to ask any questions you may have!
