Here is a stunning totem statue by Big Sky Carvers. This large piece has been hand-carved and hand-painted from a solid piece of wood, and the wings are a separate piece of hand-carved, hand-painted wood. It features an eagle, a bear holding a fish and two green pine trees. If you are a discerning collector, and are seeking a very impressive statue, this is for you!! It stands 37″ tall, 26 1/2″ wing tip to wing tip, and 8 across the base. This item comes to you in excellent condition. There are a few very tiny scratches that may be intentional. Also, the brass Big Sky Carvers plaque is scuffed. None of these affect the beauty of this magnificent piece!! Why is simple assembly required? This bird is painted and stained wood, with glass eyes; the legs and feet are metal. One foot is affixed to an oval wooden base. This example has beautifully painted details. This piece measures approximately 10 7/16 inches tall by 6 3/4 inches wide by 19 3/4 inches long. Unpacked, it weighs 2 pounds 9.1 ounces. This would be a fine addition to a collection of bird carvings. Identification This decoy was made by Big Sky Carvers.
