Fat Chickadee Cookie Jar by Big Sky Carvers EXTREMELY COLLECTIBLE DISCONTINUED. Condition is Used No chips or cracks very well taken care of. The circa on this pattern is unknown but this cookie jar is from their discontinued bird cookie jar collection. For almost 30 years Big Sky Carvers of Montana have been creating amazingly beautiful hand carved products which are wild life inspired for the rustic home, cabin, or lodge and of course the nature enthusiast. This is an exceptionally detailed jar and somewhat funny too! This little chickadee appears to have eaten a bit too much and he is nestled in his home ensconced snugly amongst the pine trees. The colors are realistic and lifelike. The removable head has a soft rubber seal around the neck of the lid that when seated on the bird body keeps in the freshness for your delightful cookies. BIG SKY CARVERS jars are fast moving up in the ranks of collectible and understandably so! Please do note that this is a somewhat heavy piece. Retired Big Sky Carvers Extremely Rare Ranger Station Large Cookie Jar Canister
Up for sale is this LONG retired, HIGHLY detailed ceramic cookie jar from Big Sky Carvers entitled “The Ranger Station”. These were discontinued prior to DEMDACO obtaining Big Sky Carvers back in 2010, so the company couldn’t offer much back ground on it, and availability WILL ONLY become more scarce over time. Standing 9″ tall, it is 7″ across and 8 long. The top has a high grade rubber lip seal on the inside which makes a nice solid seal and keeps the lid securely in place. A VERY nice feature of functionality, if you choose to use this as a container. There are a total of four different animals on this single piece. The bear up top on the chimney is quite an effective and comfortable grip to pull the top on & off with. There’s a bear peeking into the front window (which is adorable) The face looking out the side window is a great detail and the moose in the back is a brother to some of the other offerings by Big Sky carvers. The way it is styled & made, the bright colors and from any angle you look at it is an INSTANT attention grabber and conversation piece! IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO NOT SEE THIS CANISTER! The only singular blemish is a tiny fleabite on the tip of the nose of the moose in the back of the jar, and it is quite possible it will go unnoticed as at some point it looks to have been touched up with paint….. 100% clean and ready to display or put into service the moment it arrives! These don’t come up for sale very often, so do something nice for yourself or someone else! Get it now before someone else does!
